The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us, and our deepest sympathies go out to all who have been impacted by the pandemic.
During this time of uncertainty, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, consumers, and communities.
We are working in real-time to monitor and re-assess our business operations in accordance with guidance from public health authorities. Our production and distribution activities are operating. Monster products are available for sale at retail establishments.
The U.S Food and Drug Administration has stated that “[c]urrently there is no evidence of food or food packaging [which includes beverages] being associated with transmission of COVID-19.” The safety of our products remains our top priority. We have made adjustments at our facilities in order to protect everyone’s safety and well–being. In addition, we have been working with our copackers and distributors to ensure that our products continue to be safely produced and delivered to stores. We have also established enhanced protocols that we will implement if we become aware of any direct or indirect contact with COVID-19 within our supply chain. Even in this time of uncertainty, we can say with confidence that our products remain safe.
We have put in place contingency supply plans to address supply chain challenges that may arise and are continuing to work with our co-packers and distributors to ensure our products are produced and remain available for sale to consumers.
In line with recommendations regarding social distancing, we have asked our office-based employees to work remotely and have implemented procedures to ensure social distancing in our warehouse, distribution, quality control and other functions.
Monster Energy Cares, our philanthropic arm, is donating product to those helping on the front lines, including health care workers and the National Guard. We are proud to do our part to help support our communities.
